
Joshua Kalter (president/owner):
Mr. Kalter has over 25 years of experience in trading metals, ores,
and alloys in international trading firms. Specifically he has physical
trade expertise in non-ferrous metals and has traded on the LME and
COMEX. Mr. Kalter has great familiarity with producers and consumers
on both the executive and plant levels in the metals, automotive,
building and construction, packaging and steel industries. Mr. Kalter
has extensive knowledge of the global metals, ores, and alloys transportation
and logistics operations, especially the importation of Chinese metals.
He has also established detailed hedging, freight, warehousing, and
distribution programs for the metal industry. Mr. Kalter consults
extensively with a wide array of hedge funds regarding the physical
metal markets, and has delivered seminars on various topics. His expertise
includes aluminum, copper, nickel, zinc, lead, tin, silicon, magnesium,
manganese, chrome, titanium, molybdenum, cobalt, ferroalloys, steel
industry raw materials, scrap & recycling, and base metal alloys.
Mr. Kalter holds a Series 7 license, and a BS and an MBA from New
York University. Mr. Kalter holds Series 7 and 63 licenses, and a BS and an MBA from New York University.
Aliza Battat
(CFO/COO): Ms. Battat has worked as CFO/COO for Network
Metals since 2007. Previously she was a financial manager of an
international import/export company, and is familiar with international
commercial finance and credit management. Of particular advantage
to the Network Metals consulting practice is her past experience
at Philipp Morris Corp. as a sales finance national account manager
and a trade relations analyst on their Sarbanes-Oxley project. This
experience, along with her CPA and auditing skills, enables Ms.
Battat to provide in-depth financial statement analysis in the metals
and mining sector. Ms. Battat holds a CPA and a BA from Hofstra
University.
Ryan Vota (vice president): Mr.
Vota previously worked as a base, precious and minor metals analyst
for a New York investment bank specifically focused on financing
of metals and mining companies. He has broad experience in analysis
of metals and mining companies, and writes in-depth reports on public
and private companies in the sector. He also has experience in the
import, sale and distribution of various industrial metals including
copper and molybdenum. Mr. Vota holds Series 7 and 63 licenses,
and a BA from Boston University.
